Currently employing 150 personnel, with over 100 vehicles on the road we are a leading provider of electrical services to all areas of Australia.

ISO9001 accredited and AS4801 WHS certified, our competencies include electrical engineering, switchboard manufacture, CCTV, data cabling, solar, service and maintenance and project management to the industrial sector from premises located in the Tomago (Newcastle), Mt Thorley (Hunter Valley) and Gunnedah (Liverpool Plains) areas.

Our capabilities provide for an electrical project to be taken from inception, through design, engineering, project management, manufacture and installation phases to closure without reliance on third parties.

 

Data Technicians

We are currently seeking Data Technicians to join our Newcastle and Hunter Valley Operations, to be successful in this role you will need:

  • A current ACMA Licence with endorsements of Structured and Fibre Optics
  • 3+ years’ experience and sound technical knowledge within the data industry
  • Good computer skills
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to show initiative
  • Current manual driver’s license

Other favourable skills would include:

  • CCTT certified cable test technician
  • Computer network skills
  • CCTV systems

We are looking for highly motivated data technicians with a professional “can do” attitude and good communication skills. This is a permanent role with excellent remuneration based on previous experience.

Electrical Projects Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Supervisor for our Electrical Projects Division based out of our Tomago (Newcastle) Branch.  We have 30 electricians currently employed in this division performing works anywhere in NSW and we need another supervisor to oversee our teams and work in with our Project Coordinator and Project Manager if you believe you are the right person to do this with a “Can Do” attitude then we would like to speak with you so please contact us at:-

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Current Electrical Supervisors License.
  • EWP
  • Working At Heights
  • LVR & CPR
  • Excellent Leadership Qualities with hands on experience leading teams.
  • Previous Industrial Experience.
  • Be reliable, punctual and committed towards workplace health and safety.
  • High degree of computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Strong Organisational, time management and prioritization skills are a must for this role.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills are also essential.

Reporting to one of our project managers, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in project planning and forecasting.
  • Take part in job costing and performance against budget.
  • Effectively manage and control all labour, material and equipment resources.
  • Take an active role in the overall management of WHS matters and ensure all WHS policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Supervise a designated work team, including apprentices to complete the assigned jobs while ensuring safety is the number one priority.
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with Quality Standards and Procedures.

This is a permanent role with overtime available, excellent remuneration and conditions as per our company EBA.

 

 Electrical Engineer

 

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Tomago operations, to be successful in this role you will need:

  • An Electrical Engineering Diploma/ Degree qualifications.
  • Demonstrated detailed design experience with electrical switchgear and control systems.
  • AutoCad skills and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of electrical wiring standards and certification requirements, ideally including the mining environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Prior experience designing switchboards and motor control centres will be highly regarded
  • A working knowledge of AS/NZS 3439.1 and AS/NZS 61439 will also be highly regarded.
  • Must be based within a 30km radius to Tomago.
  • Must be available for an immediate start once completing a medical.

Industrial Electricians – Gunnedah & Narrabri Region

 

We are currently seeking licensed industrial electricians to join our growing installation and project team who reside in the Tamworth/ Gunnedah / Narrabri area. We have long term electrical work in the mining and industrial sectors across the region

While mine site experience and hazardous area training would be viewed favorably, our main requirement is for people who fit our culture with a positive “CAN DO” attitude. If you can bring this to the table and you are keen for a career in the mining sector then we will provide you with the training and experience you need to get started in the industry.

You will receive access to a company motor vehicle, mobile phone and clothing, and local accommodation can be provided subject to conditions. The base rate of pay is $38/hr plus allowances and redundancy contributions, and overtime is generally available.

To qualify for this position you must reside in the Tamworth/ Gunnedah / Narrabri area, and/or be willing to stay in provided accommodation (Gunnedah) between work days, possess at least 3 years’ post trade experience, a NSW Qualified Supervisors Certificate or Contractor’s License, driver’s license and be able to work unsupervised.
